Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Hi Everyone... New Member

Hi Everyone,
I have been surfing this site for quite sometime and finally decided to become a member. You guys are all so supportive of each other... it's nice to be part of a community where people understand what we go through on a daily basis.
Just to tell you a little bit about myself. I have IBS-A I guess. I never really got a formal diagnosis but my sister is a PA in a GI clinic and she said I am a text book case. After surfing this site I could agree. I always thought I just got sick more than the average person. The funny thing is it always happens when I have somewhere important to go...don't you just hate that the most? The past two years have been pretty rough, I have had to miss quite a few days of work... which really upsets me- I just want to be able to make it through the year like everyother responsible employee. Well, I don't want to ramble on... just thought I would take the time to introduce myself.
