It's a stimulant laxative with serious potential problems...       06/04/04 02:05 PM Edit Reply Quote Ana Maria Reged: 03/24/04 Posts: 171 Years ago when I was "diagnosed" with ibs by my family doctor who did no tests... she - the doc - told me to drink lots of water, eat lots of fibre like bran and take "Senokot" whenever I got C. Suffice it to say that all that happened was that I had to keep taking the Senokot, always felt sick and bloated and C and very rarely had a bm naturally. Smart doctor - eh!?
