The ONLY thing that works for me (besides a laxative) is....I personally take Bentyl (generic name is dicyclomine). It's these little pills that help my stomach ache and also relax my bowels which helps me go to the bathroom. I think my colon is normally clenched and tight, but these pills help to relax them AND helps the pain in your stomach. Maybe you can ask your doctor about them? The key is to take them with little to no food in your stomach because it works A LOT faster. I hope this helps..this is the only thing that works for me, but it doesn't work for everyone.
