Take it from someone in the medical profession, we DO have to list all the possible side effects, even if there is only a REMOTE possibility that the person may experience them. We don't do it to scare people (I'm sorry it scared you!), yes, it's a CYA-thing, and I would advise you to take it with a grain of salt. We refer to it as a risk-versus-reward thing: does the possible benefit to the patient outweigh the possibility of adverse reactions? If you trust your doctor, trust that he has weighed these issues and made the best decision he can for you. If you have any reason not to trust your doc, listen to your gut (pun intended!)
