Not sure if you can get Citrucel or not (I think it is US product???), you can order Acacia from this website from Heather and she ships it to you, I find it does not cause as much gas.

Thanks. I had the lapropscopic nissen fundoplocation surgery done for my GERD. Basically a wrap done of my stomach around my stomach valve. The surgeon did it too tight and I recently had it dialated through endoscope. And yes I can't burp. When I do it is sooooooo painful. Can trapped gas remain in a person's body for days?
I'll take the metamucil slow for a few days to see if that helps. Thanks for replying.
