About 20 years ago, I was diagnosed with depression. So I took the necesary steps to overcome, with treatment and relearning new behaviors. 10 years later, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Once again, I adjusted my life to make sure all was in moderation. I was told at that time that depression, fibromylagia and IBS go hand in hand and to expect IBS in the future. I didnt understand why I should expect it because I was living simply, meditatiing in prayer, eating how I thought I should, and I had it in control. Now I have IBS. My question is, if there is a link between D and F and IBS, then how can IBS have been prevented? Nothing I have done seemed to do so and what else do I have to look forward to? I also understand that IBS is a very sensitive colon. Depression is mental and emotional sensitivity and fibromyalgia is muscular sensitivity. (Or I could say overreaction in place of sensitivity- means the same to me). Any thoughts?
