I take it for period pain, trigger or not because the pain is so bad I'm almost suicidal so at that point I don't care so much about the triggers for IBS. If you're gonna take it make sure you do so on a full stomach of soluble fibre - NEVER on an empty stomach. For headaches/migraines, I find the ONLY thing that works is to go to bed and sleep it off.
