IBS worse in the morning?       08/11/12 07:06 PM Edit Reply Quote Laurastr1 Reged: 12/24/07 Posts: 120 Loc: Chicago If I'm going to have D it's almost always the 2nd bowel movement of the morning. I typically wake up and have a normal movement. Then with in the hour (doesn't matter if I eat or not) I'll have D. If I get lucky and don't have D, I still have another movement soon after the 1st. Sometiems, there's a 3rd or more. Then, once Noon rolls around I turn into a normal person. When I have morning meetings at work I won't eat anything until after the meeting. I often get up early to allow my body time to go through all this hopefully before I leave.
