I was wondering if anyone juices vegetables as a means of getting the health benefits without all that insoluble fiber?
If there's one thing that almost all eating plans agree on, it's that increasing vegetable intake is a good thing.
However, this obviously increases the amount of insoluble fiber, which is bad for many folks with IBS.
I juice vegetables from time to time, in the hope that I can get some of the health benefits without consuming all that insoluble fiber. I can't so that it always agrees with my stomach, but probably more so that if I were to eat the vegetables whole.
Anyone else use this strategy? (Note that I do not add any fruit - just vegetables).
