Hi,
I'm new too and same age as you....okay, okay, one year older, I'm 35..LOL! I've been keeping a log of what I eat for a few weeks now and when it comes to eating vegetables, I eat very, very small amounts in one sitting (which is good for me as I was never a fan for most vegetables anyway..lol). When I have episodes, I go back to see what I ate that could have caused it. For instance, I had teriakyi chicken legs which dark meat is a trigger but stupid me ate it anyway so perhaps that was the culprit a few days later. I've had an endoscopy - all is fine, scheduled a colonoscopy for the 2nd time as the 1st time was no success since I couldn't stomach the nasty drink - this time he is giving me an easier prep and I'm seeing a food allergist in a few weeks. After that, I'm going to the gyno for a checkup to make sure all is okay there. Trying to rule out all before assuming IBS is my issue, although following the IBS diet it seems it is. P.S. I record ALL things I eat and drink! Even if it's a minor bite of something that I didn't like, I record it! Also record your BM and be descriptive as possible. I'm determined to figure out my triggers and such so I document EVERY LITTLE DETAIL!
