I just had a baby 3 months ago and due to problems I couldn't nurse (which supposedly helps relieve ibs symptoms!) I have went into a tailspin of IBS-D to IBS-C. Each week it's something different. At first it was the fluctuating hormones from having the baby and then it was transferring back over to birth control. I have stuck to heathers diet throughout my pregnancy and til now, but i think because of the hormones and now (sinus infection.) I can't get balanced. I have lost all baby weight and I keep losing. I have always been small, but now I'm losing more than before. I am 5'5" and always weighed 100lbs. Now I am down to 96lbs. I eat PLENTY of bread and pasta, but I still can't gain. I'm getting worried!! What can I do?? Are their any "IBS friendly" weight gain supplements out there?? PPL are gonna start to think I'm anorexic or something! I had a dietitian from the hospital email me some "recipes" and get this it said 2% milk was safe, peanut butter, beef liver, etc. All this is triggers and she wouldn't listen when I tried to tell her otherwise. I need advice! PLEASE HELP!!! Oh and I'm going on vacation soon and I'm on antibiotics...say a prayer for me! My wonderful hubby rented a condo so thankfully I should be able to cook safe! I seriously need advice on gaining weight tho! ANY advice would be appreciated!!!
