I added glucomannan to some english muffins I baked last nite which made an extra 2.5 grams of soluble fiber per muffin... I ate two this morning, making a total of 5g soluble fiber... I have had enormous bloating and pain all day. I usually eat oatmeal in the mornings which is 5g of fiber....and Im fine... Was it because of the Glucomannan I added? I guess I should have never strayed from Acacia I had only been at 1/4 tsp with acacia 2x day. I just thought that since I can handle oatmeal at 5, why couldnt I handle soluble fiber at 5? Was I totally wrong? Please help me with answers...
