I'd like to go to a doctor but I'm concerned that ibs will get flagged as a preexisting condition

I'm been through a number of diet changes lately and its hard to tell if its working. At first, the FODMAP diet seemed to be working wonders. Then I decided to stop taking calcium supplements. Good for a few days but now i've had two episodes of watery D. This is in contrast to when I was on calcium, where i'd have gas and discomfort leading to an urgent bm. i don't know if this is useful info but its what i've experienced.

I'm frustrated. I'm no longer interested in experimenting with my diet and would like to go to a doctor. I've avoided it for some time. People go through so much trouble to find a doctor and frequently with little results. I've also been concerned about insurance coverage although i've been insured for the past two years.

I'm starting a new job and wonder if the new insurance plan could exclude ibs as a preexisting condition.

also, i'm wondering if this is a natural side effect from stopping calcium and perhaps i'm just particularly short of patients at the moment.
