Well, I personally have a cupboard full of trial and error supplements I have tried on my own at quite an expense. We've all here discussed probiotics and digestive enzymes, such as which ones to take, when to take them and how many to take. I'd rather have someone who has more knowledge than I do on them help me wade through the process. If it doesn't work, then so be it. If it does work, I win. As you said, nothing is particularly harmful and really nothing seems to be out of the norm of what others recommend for IBS. It's just a matter of living by the diet and taking the supplements for 3 months. The Eating for IBS diet is a main part of my recovery, I couldn't have gotten this far without it, but there is still room for improvement and I'm trying to find it. Let's face it, we're all grasping for straws in this predicament we've been dealt.
