Tuna? Gummies?

Hello all!

Over six months now, follow the diet faithfully. Lost 40 lbs since Feb(due to less eating since I hate eating now, not anything serious like IBD or Chrons) and I wasn't heavy to begin with. Nothing, either traditional or holistic, has seemed to work. Things aren't terrible, but they aren't good. I don't have flare ups, and I rarely have D anymore. It's mostly just discomfort, pressure, and pain constantly, with worsening after I eat. Anyway, now that the backstory is over:

I know canned tuna in water is listed as a safe food, but I have noticed, most recently last night, that when I eat it I feel a bit worse for wear. I can't 100% blame it on the tuna, since obvioulsy I eat multiple times a day, but it seems to go. I basically made up a bowl of white rice and then mixed in some chunk light canned tuna in water (drained). Within 30 min of eating I could tell I had inflammation because my face and forehead became really hot. Waking up this morning I felt gross. No D since I pre-emptively Immodiumized, but anyone else have a problem with tuna?

Also, from the description of what a "trigger" is, it would seem gummy candies are ok. They are usually just sugar and some gelatin agent - no dairy, no fat, etc. Yet when I eat them I tend to feel worse later and the next day. There are a whole slew of artificial flavors and whatnot in some brands, but I tried some bears from Trader Joes that had nothing artificial and it still caused problems. Is it the ingredient that makes them gummy that does it? Anyone else have a problem with these? I guess Jello would have the same problem, but I haven't tried it.

Thanks!
