Hello...Im new here...I was diagnosed celiac in July 2008 but have continued to suffer bouts of pain, bloating,and D that can last up to a week..my Dr is now testing me for IBS.. which as you all know means eliminating other possible causes...so it will probabaly be a month b4 I have answers...as for now what to eat is a problem..what is good for IBS is not for celiac..what I can eat as a celiac is not good for IBS...leaving me with white rice, chicken, tuna, and tea,,watered down cranberry juice, blueberries.. for the last 2 weeks..trying to get myself back to normal..b4 I got sick 3 weeks ago(out of the blue)I had a great 2 months with no symptoms..then I had a weekend in which I ate a lot of junk food..cake, chips, candy..and all hell broke loose...severe pain (always starts at night)and bloating,,cant sleep, cant go the bathroom..I am in the fetal position all night...then around 7am I go the bathroom,,,normal movements (6 ) then the big D for 2 days..pain and bloat..nausea, to the point I cant even drink water..as soon as it hit the stomache..it hurts..eventually I am weak and dehydrated..tylenol takes the edge off so I try to eat and drink...I dont want to go the the ER as you know you will spend hours in pain on a chair..with lots of sick people around you...then you have hundreds of $ of blood tests only to be told you are fine and then they give you fluids that you knew you needed 12 hours ago when you got there.. Sorry I'm babbling...would anybody have an idea of additional foods I could add...thanks
