Peppermint capsules on full/empty stomach?       01/23/09 03:11 PM Edit Reply Quote TeresaLouise Reged: 11/29/06 Posts: 147 We are going to try the peppermint capsules with our 20yr. old daughter with special needs for her IBS-C. Is it better to take them on a empty stomach or with food? She does get acid reflux and were given a written prescription by her doctor to try enteric coated peppermint tablets as those would be less likely to irritate the reflux issue. Hoping that these would help alleviate her intense abdominal spasms. Also is it OK to give at same time as her other meds (prozac and zantac)? Thank you Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
