Re: passing mucous ?       01/07/09 05:23 PM Edit Reply Quote Minou Reged: 01/04/09 Posts: 3 Loc: Montreal, Canada Hi Teresa, I have Crohn's and IBS-C (I don't understand how someone could have both but apparently, I do). Anyway, mucous+gas is a huge problem for me right now and I'm on the hunt for a way to get rid of it. I wouldn't say the mucous causes anymore discomfort or inflammation, it's the combination of mucous and gas and on and off constipation that really gets me. Here's my plan so far... #1 Heather's diet #2 Probiotics #3 Antidepressants (sounds strange but apparently they help relieve IBS symptoms) #4 I've ordered some Bee Propolis (read on another board that it cut down quite a bit on mucous) I'll let you know if I get any results.
