Need to gain weight       12/31/08 04:04 PM Edit Reply Quote TeresaLouise Reged: 11/29/06 Posts: 147 Hi, I know a post was just made regarding this topic but this is a different twist on it. I have been doing the EFI daughter for my 20 yr. old special needs daughter the past couple years and she has lost around 15 lbs. and is down to 97lbs. I want to get her weight back up but even alot of the foods on the diet she doesn't tolerate and give her alot of gas. For example pretty much anything that has sugar in it like the sweet breads, etc.. give her too much painful gas as well as any pasta or white breads. So i don't know how to get her calories up. She has white rice with every meal as a soluble fiber. Also I have tried smoothies but she just can't handle them. I've been giving her some plain rice cakes with peanut butter on it and she seems to tolerate that.. Thank you so much for any suggetions Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
