According to the March of Dimes website, you only need 1000mg. I would not take more calcium unless my ob/gyn said it was okay. Do you like tofu? It's high in calcium and super yummy. Also soy yogurt that is fortified w/calcium would be good. I had a higher tolerance for dairy during my pregnancy so I indulged in milkshakes and pizzas much more frequently! You could also make smoothies, milkshakes with soymilk in them to drink more soy. HTH!
