IF or Protein Shakes?

I'm more on the D side so I'm not sure how applicable this will be. Much of what I do is stick with the "lots of SF and a little IF only after SF" part of this diet, but if I don't get any IF at all I get bloated. But here are my thoughts anyway b/c the diet is geared for all kinds of IBS.

Your meal 1 seems to have a lot of IF (oat bran? ouch that would kill me - personally I can't even handle oatmeal though many can) and I'm not sure the apple sauce has enough SF to build a base for it. Meals 2 and 4: are you eating SF bread/pasta/rice, again making sure you get a good SF base?

Also I see protein shake. What is that made from? Most protein shakes I've seen are made from whey which is dairy and is a trigger food. A lot of protein shakes give "normal" people lots of gas. I've also seen soy-based protein shakes; too much soy causes me an incredible amount of bloating although I haven't taken the time to build up my tolerance little by little as I've read that you can.
