I'm confused. I was recently diagnosed with IBS and told that I should avoid barely, bran, oats, rye and whole wheat and soya products. I notice that a number of users on this site are recommending these products.
I was told to only have corn flakes, rice krispies and special k.
I love cereal (with lots of the above ingredients) must may also be lactose intolerant.
I work our regularly and like to get some good protein in the morning. I usually would have a high protein cereal like Kashi and possibly some peanut butter on toast. Both are now off limits to me.
Any suggestions about that to eat in the morning that is high in protein and low in fat that is not a dairy or soya product?)

Thanks
