Hi Jen,
that's a similar predicament to that I find myself in. I'm IBS-C and lean towards depression rather than anxiety but the cycle is the same. When one flares up, it invokes the other.

I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. I tried the elimination diet but found that it isn't as simple as oranges are OK and apples are bad. Portion size, order in which you eat things, whether it's cooked or not, combinations of food are all massive factors. At the moment I'm pretty much following Heather's Diet and it helps but is no solution for me, I am still regularly in significant pain.

As for the Depression/Anxiety I was recently considering going back on meds (again) until that report came out showing that the top 4 meds are no better than placebo - something which I myself have experienced. So I'm off to get 400 packets of placebo - it's cheaper
