Dry fried chicken with fresh ginger and honey White rice and carrots (which I ate first) Then I had some yellow peppers and courgettes also dry fried. Unfortunately since eating this meal I've had abdominal pains ever since. It started last night (the pain always wakes me up) and has continued throughout the day. Does anyone have any suggestions? I realise the vegetables (not the carrots) are insoluble but I ate the rice and carrots first. What about the chicken and the ginger? As always I'd appreciate your feedback. Kind regards Tim
Well, hmmmm... the chicken and ginger should be fine. *I* could not have the tomato puree, and NO PEPPERS! OUCH! They used to give me the belchies long before I realized I had IBS. I don't eat white rice... it constipates. The other veggies, were they really tender? or just heated-thru? I find I have to *really* cook my veggies... they've got to be very soft... break that insoluble fiber down a bit so as not to overwhelm my colon. Carrots? I would cook until soft and mash; then put a little butter spray on them. (Yes, I know, more chemicals.) *sigh*
I like a little rice pasta with mashed legumes... black beans, garbanzos, kidneys... in moderation, of course, and cubed poached chicken. Or salmon, if it's a fish nite.
