Re: Colonoscopy or Symoidoscopy?       12/17/03 03:31 PM Edit Reply Quote Gail1 Reged: 09/04/03 Posts: 62 Loc: Calgary, AB, Canada Hi Bev, I looked on the internet to see what the difference between the two of them was. I had the colonoscopy, that is the one that goes farther in. I was on the table for over an hour and my doctor and one male nurse was there. (which I thought was weird) It was the worst thing that I have ever gone through. I guess that medicine has come a long way since then. I have not gone back to that doctor since I got my results from the test back. I have a new one now, and I told my GP about this site and what it is about and she was happy to hear that there is somewhere that we can go to get more help and support. I don't know what I would have done if I had not found this site and the wonderful people on here. It has been a God send for me. Gail Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
