Metabolic Typing & IBS

I've recently discovered my condition of IBS after 3 years of switching diets and pure frustrating trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I always thought IBS was a made-up disorder for general "stomach problems". I should have took it more seriously as it runs in my family but I have it the worst. But this aside here is my problem.

Through my research I've read a lot about metabolic typing. This is a very broad topic but it comes down to some people are genetically better for eating a vegetarian diet, protein, and a mixture of each. I *KNOW* that when I eat meat I feel 100x better than without. I've been vegetarian for several months in the past and recently when I found out and read "First IBS" I tried to start eating less meat but my strength, focus, and concentration dropped drastically. Now obviously we all know the problems with meat and IBS. Is there anything I can do where I can ease IBS and eat more meat protein, especially dark meats? I haven't tested a diet of incorporation of various meat protein and IBS to the fullest extent as of yet. It may sound like "it's all in my head" but not getting a source of meat protein in at least every meal makes feel crappy. It makes me feel really jittery, higher carb intake possibly? A meal with meat protein gives me a steady flow of energy and leaves me satisfied. Like I said, I haven't tested metabolic typing & IBS enough yet. I just want to see what others have done.

Has anyone else incorporated metabolic typing w/ IBS or have any suggestions/experiences?
Thanks.
