Feeling really fed up! i cant eat anything :-(

I'm 31 and have been having problems since 2005 when my mum was taken seriosly ill with severe pancratitis (she's ok now) any way she was ill for about a year so i was quite stressed but also distracted etc but towards the end of her illness i started too notice that i'd been having problems for quite a while but not really had time too deal with it. Any way, cut a long story short (i've had too self diagnose as a blood test is not an option for me as i have a needle phobia)over the past couple of years i've eliminated some things that i thought were the cause i'e wheat allery, yeast allergy, general tummy bug etc etc My sysmptoms started with diorreah (cant spell soz)and i lost about a stone (i was over weight too start though so n big problem) it has now it changed too constipation (last 6 months) i've now recently (2 months ago) self diagnosed IBS as this seems to relate to my symptoms exactly. I was taking senakot everyday as this seemed to be the only way to go, i tired tons of other things like prume juice, extra veg, brown bread (most of which made me ill) but senakot seemed the only thing that worked, i stopped taking it about 2 months ago as it didnt seem to be as effective as when i first took it and started too become constipated again and also because i started too try for a baby. I've put on half a stone since stopping the senakot and the constipation has got bad again so i've started senakot every other day this week and that has helped. I have been taking the following: Peppermint oil capsules, peppermint & fennel tea (yuk), benefiber,& a range of baby making vitamin's lol I have identified the following foods that cause definate problems which i avoid like the plague : All Bread - inc things coated in bread crumbs - Lots of bloating & pains, Onion -(leeks seem ok) - VERY BAD & lots of wind, greasy food - crisps, chips, curry, fast food especially KFC - lots of sharp pains, Dairy - milk, egg's & cheese - lots of aching pains, biscuits - ALL :-( - Lots of wind, bloating & Pain. Veg - Brocolli, sprouts & cabbage (leafy green veg) - Lots of wind, and severe wind type pains Anything nice really!
Which leaves potato (not mashed with milk or butter), Carrots & rice! :-(
I'm really struggling with things i can eat, i'm rapidly gaining weight whether this is due too the foods i am eating or the constant constipation i dont know but i'm feeling really fed up and miserable!
Sorry for the huge moan but i am feeling very sorry for myself today!
