Just a note. I bought Heathers IBS diet and recipe book sometime in July. Began trying recipes, got rid of dairy and diet coke. Within 2 weeks began to see results. Saw my DR on aug 23, all labs perfect including hgb A1c (blood sugar range). Requested to try Questran as had gall bladder removed when 24 yrs, now 66. What a treat! Having formed stools for nearly the first time in years. Talk about a miracle! After being afraid to go out without a pad and being told I had fecal incontinence, I am now healed and having no more cramping or diarrhea or incont. Halleluia!!! Thank You Heather. I think my local health food store loves you too. I'm now cooking w/soy and tofu and loving it.  have tried many recipes from the boards here and want to thank all contributors.
