If you have ever known or had acid reflux - they warn you to stay away from mints, esp. peppermint because the reflux is so bad. Therefore - if people who had reflux over produce stomach acid -- and they are warned not to have peppermint the acid must NOT neutralize it, or reflux would not be a problem. I drink peppermint tea, a lot and find that it helps, also i did purchase the Heather's peppermint capsules and those help as well.
