My doctor just did a follow-up CBC from 5 months ago. My white blood count and platelets are still a bit low. I'm borderline anemic. She wants me to see a hematologist.

Has anybody else had these results? The numbers went down since I started IBS diet (well, no dairy, eggs, red meat). I don't eat much meat; I don't like it. I wonder if I'm just not absorbing enough nutrients.
