lower back pain and IBS       06/19/07 10:33 PM Edit Reply Quote margy Reged: 06/19/07 Posts: 9 Loc: Australia Hi, does anyone have IBS bouts with a following crippling lower back ache. I have suffered for years and have only just found this wonderful web site. Have now purchased the books (but not recieved them yet) and started the diet. Previously I have been on a low salicylate diet but found this only gave some help to back pain but aggravated the IBS. I got no help from the gastroenterologist other than the IBS and back pain are related. I hope if I stay on this diet it will help me. It has only been three days and the diarrhea has stopped.
