Not sure about the citric acid, but I hope someone answers because it is something I've wondered about for a while now as well.

As for the Calcium, I take Isotonix Calcium Supplement (it has Magnesium in it which is good for IBS-C, which is what i have) and have been pretty good with it. Of course I still have attacks but I don't think its from the calcium, but everyone is different. Do a goodle search of Isotonix, they really are great Vitamin & Mineral Supplements - they are in powder form and react when mixed with water, which means they go right into the blood stream. I also take their B viatmain substitute and occasionally the multi-vitamin, but i forget the name. Hope this helps!
