I'm glad I found this website - I've had problems with IBS-D (but i didn't know what it was) for several months. Now I can see that even when I was eating what I considered healthy (mostly guided by south beach diet - whole wheat stuff, salads, etc.) I was getting sick. So what is the best way to kick start this diet? I read some posts about the BTC diet. Does this mean only eating things from the SF list for a few days? What about things like soy milk? Also would I start to add fiber supplements at this point? Does anyone know of a good way to systematically add more foods into your diet after the first few days? Sorry for my millions of questions, I'm just desparate to find something that works, and it looks like there is a lot of collective knowledge on this board!
