Thanks for your reply, ECM.

I don't use any SFS - other than psyllium on the occasions when my C seems to be a bit worse.

I haven't formerly been diagnosed with IBS-C and I don't feel my symptoms are bad enough to warrant a visit to the GI doc just yet - they are just more of an inconvenience and very closely tied to my anxiety/depression which I am being treated for. If at any stage my symptoms start getting a lot worse, I will of course look into further testing.

In the mean time, the EFI diet doesn't hurt anyway and I am sticking as close to it as I can. I've read just about EVERYTHING I can get my hands on when it comes to IBS but I am still having a really hard time pinpointing any 'triggers' (thus my original post) which is why I relate it all to stress at the moment!
