penicillin question       03/23/07 04:06 AM Edit Reply Quote sarah123 Reged: 06/19/06 Posts: 71 Loc: canada HI my dentist perscribed penicillin for me 2 days ago and I started taking it that same day.I am supposed to take 2 pills 4 times a day and I started noticing that right after I took them it made my ibs flare up but it was just a small amount of cramping.Now this morning I woke up to really bad cramping.It was so bad I couldn't even stay in bed. So getting down to my question,Is this normal?Has anyone had this problem with antibiotics?I am due to take my first set of pills for the day in about an hour but I am not sure I can handle anymore pain.PLease help !!!What do I do?I have a bad infection and need to take these pills but I am scared of the pain!Thanks in advance for any help.
