Ok, my friend takes instant grits in the package for breakfast (you could probably use oatmeal, remember she's celiac and can't eat oats). For other meals she suggested the Thai Kitchen noodles as I did, but she added some foil packet chicken to it which makes it more of a substantial meal. She also carried foil packets of tuna and some crackers. Also you could get some dried payapa, that seems to be ok with me (no sulfur added though). As for other snacks you could take vanilla wafers, fat free fig newtons, small packages of applesauce, and whatever else you could think of that's light.
