I had previously posted about my doubt about my diagnosis...but I did what I could to research IBS and ways to alleviate symptoms. I read alot on this board and I even ordered 2 books (eating for IBS and another one that goes over symptoms). I have been following the diet...soluble before insoluble etc. Then I tried some of the trigger foods on my "good days" to see if it really caused my symptoms to flare. I can drink coffee and soda and I can even eat cheeses without any sort of flare. My only symptoms are gas and bloating, and occassional constipation. I never have any pain or anything like I used to....I had been previously diagnosed with IBS years ago and at that point in my life I was extremely stressed and it was found that was my trigger. I had sever pain then tho. It went away when I got out of the living situation that I was in and then all of a sudden a few months ago the bloating and gas came back. Is it possible that this is IBS even though the STOP foods dont bother me? Some people say I should take a stress test that it might not be IBS or anything relted to my digestive tract. I am really confused and I just want to find out whats wrong with me! any suggestions would help!
