Contraceptive pill...and lactose       12/04/03 08:00 AM Edit Reply Quote katgirl Reged: 10/31/03 Posts: 98 Today i changed contraceptive pill...apparently there's only one that doesnt contain lactose but its progesterone only and the dcotor said i should try microgynon which is what i was on months ago before the IBS started. I cant see how a change in pill that also contains lactose is going to help personally, but maybe the different levels of oestrogen and progesterone may have affected my stomach...does any one reckon it could be the lactose in the pill that is causing/contributing to such severe bloating?
