what to do while I wait?       11/22/06 06:29 PM Edit Reply Quote Valerie A. Reged: 11/08/05 Posts: 105 So I kinda got scrutinized yesterday during my GI visit. Dr said pathology of colonoscopy were normal. It was a very emotional and frustrating visit for me. So I wasn't in a calm mindset to ask. I tried calling GI today. Not in. Now I have to wait 'til Monday.. My question is what to do while I'm waiting for the camera pill test. My consultation for that isn't until December 21st.. GI wants me to take Questran because he is diagnosing me with bile acid malabsorption and bacterial overgrowth. He didn't say whether or not I should start taking the Questran and probiotics now... orr... wait until after the camera pill is done.. probably not until end of January-February, need preapproval from insurance, that takes 30 days +/- He scrutinized me for not taking the questran, since June...hence "my problem solved".. according to him... He's the one who said not to take it until we conclusively rule out other diseases... frustrating your thoughts? Thanks.. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
