Hi everybody
Really enjoy that last post on soy, how about it? Since my last post, I augmented my SFS dosage from 71/2 to 10 1/2 grams a day. It Immediatly stabilized me. I felt better, almost like a new man for a week and a half. Then last sunday night I tried to get creative by making a pasta sauce with soy milk, after eating it, my tummy made some weird noises (the kind that usually announces a flare up). Tried not to worrie about it. Yesterday, brought the remaining pasta to work for lunch. When I ate it, I immediatly got the noises again, stop halfway through. For the rest of the day yesterday I got what I call an acceleration of bowel movement which means I have normal stools but I go more and more has the day advances and I feel really tire, like digestion is taking all my energy. Last night, had a little pita bread pizza with schrimp on it. Today, I took one of Heather's Tummy Tamers before lunch and I had chicken with rice and some spinach with a Belsoy pudding. After it, got a bad d-attack.
I don't know why, but I seem to have a problem tolerating soy product in general. Soy milk I usually can only have it when I'm really stable, otherwise it's a trigger. Soy yogurt I can't have at all. Soy pudding is alright when I'm stable.
Seems I was able to be stable with 7 grams of SFS a day for the last year and a half. Seems that happy time is now over. I have been at 10 1/2 gram for a week and a half and it really helped a lot, I will try to go up to 12 grams this week. Do any of you pros think i'm on the right track?
