I was taking flaxseed oil for the Omega 3's but have now SWITCHED to taking a Salmon oil capsule with each meal...the are only 1g of fat per capsule...so how many with each meal - and how much "other" fat / what kind - to "permit" each meal ... I do not do saturated fats, trans or hydrogenated fats... Canola is acceptable...is some flax okay or useless? I don't believe in a fat-free diet...anyone?

How much fat per "meal" or ave 300-500 cals does and IBS-D allow given you've held to the greater amount of soluble than insoluble fiber rule?
