Hey guys

I've been searching for a supplement similar to 'Beano' here in the UK but am not too sure what I'm looking for. COuld someone please list the ingredients/enzymes found in 'Beano'? I'm IBS-D and have lots of problems with gas although I control it quite well with Heather's diet, fennel, peppermint tea, acacia and acidophilus. I want to find a supplement that is equivalent to Beano in the UK, today I was searching for something with sucrase, maltase or lactase (as I believe these are the ones that break down complex sugars such as raffinose?) and all i could find was a lactase supplement that contained artificial sweeteners. Grrr. Could anyone recommend a website that contains something suitable if I can't find something in the stores over here, although I don't really want to be paying out a lot for shipping overseas, I'm sure I can find something more local if I know what I'm looking for. Cheers guys!

Ooh by the way, i'm being treated for eating disorder and have been having to put on weight and have been eating lots of bread alongside my usual meals which has worked sooo well for my IBS!! Having a BM as opposed to trapped wind is like heaven on earth and I am SOOOO happy (ie I have been eating the bread as well as my usual rice, noodles, sweet potatoes etc I wouldn't normally have bread when I already have other carbs in the meal but this has been working so well for my BM's!) Ahh! Heaven is a loaf of bread!
