LOL yeh friday the 13th, great timing, eh? so this is not your first colonoscopy?
they want me to take the last dose of the phospha-whatever it is, just THREE hours before the test- if i even take a laxative (which i RARELY do!!) i am in the bathroom for ten hours!! and sometimes dont make it when i am only one room away. thats the scary thing- that i am gonna have an accident on the way there (i'm walking, and someone is gonna take me home later)
so i am thinking if the first dose has seemed to clean me out well enough, i wont need to take the second one.
oh, if you have had this before, how long were you there after the test, before they would let you go home? i am not having the versed/fentanyl combo, can 't have opiates, so i am getting the propofol anesthesia. dont know if that makes a difference on recovery time
ack! i am trying not to worry, the actual test doesn't scare me, its having an accident on the way there or in the waiting room or something OY!
