Heather-Another safe option other than Ensure?       11/18/03 02:17 PM Edit Reply Quote Chelsea22 Reged: 10/20/03 Posts: 54 Loc: Virginia Yes, Ensure contains milk proteins, which they don't tell you about on the label...I found this out on their website, after a IBS-D attack brought on by the product. What other "liquid" nutritional supplements are there for those of us who are sensitive to lactose and milk proteins? The hospitals must use something that can work for everyone. These type of supplements are great when you are preparing the few days before a colonoscopy or any other time when you are not feeling well and need a protein source. Any ideas?
