Yes, I had second thoughts about the IBS not being a real diagnosis statement. It can be a very real thing. It was more the frustration of having a doctor who did not go to the lengths of ruling out any other possible causes for my discomforts. He had his little set of numbers from the blood tests he would run yearly that was his "bible". He sure loved to order up MRI's though ...

Yes, the reaction to probiotics has me stumped. It sounds like my body is telling me it's got enough, so I'm still tinkering with amount and frequency of dosing.

I looked at some of Heather's diet stuff and am holding off for now. I am feeling the best I have in a while (crossing fingers) and hope that fine tuning what I'm doing now will do the trick.
