The nausea, I use Prometh gel. It is a life saver. Many doctors use prometh but have never heard of the gel. You rub it on the inside of your wrist, it works GREAT! When I used to have flare ups the nausea and the pain were the worst. Next, drink tons of pedilite. I use the off brand, it is cheaper and taste better and I drink all day long and it really helps. The D I use lomotil. It is pres only but it really works and keeping a heating pad on your tummy helps too. The only food I eat when I had flare ups like that was fat free crackers.
