Hi. I did a search for miralax use for IBS-A predominantly D but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have experience or advice on using miralax for IBS-A? I currently take bentyl 20mg every 5 hours, take 7 citrucel caplets over the course of the day, use a probiotic once daily and moving to twice daily, and I use imodium advanced every few days to control the D and the "sick" feeling I have where I feel D but I actually am C. I want to add a stool softener and I am hoping the addition of a stool softener will help immensely but I can't find a stool softener without sorbitol in it. I've heard that lots of people have had success adding mirilax. Any advice on stool softeners or miralax for IBS-A is greatly appreciated!
