The chest area burning is from my hiatal hernia. Have you been diagnosed with GERD? How often do you get it? The burning in your chest isn't a part of IBS. I notice a burning sensation in my intestines usually before I'm about to have D or pass very loose stools. I don't have that feeling when I'm C.
