citrucel stopped working?       11/06/03 08:14 AM Edit Reply Quote beth2 Reged: 08/14/03 Posts: 10 Loc: Maryland Hi, I've been away for a while because I was feeling better, but now . . . I stopped my birthcontrol and was taking 8-12 citrucel a day along with calcium and magnisium. I also stopped eating a lot of insoluable fibers and was eating mostly bagels and a little pasta. I was doing quite well, but then it seemed to have stopped working. I'm quite constipated again with only very small, very hard stools, but the bloating only occurs when have salty foods or a salad. I stopped the supplements because they were not working, and now the only time I go is after coffee or a laxative, and still it is always very hard. Should I try a bulking fiber?
