problem with egg whites       04/09/06 01:48 PM Edit Reply Quote mtmtmt Reged: 04/09/06 Posts: 47 HI. I am newly diagnosed but think I have had IBS-C for many years. I am following the Diet for IBS and am on Zelnorm. The diet has worked but not 100% and the meds are helping. I am a huge believe in Peppermint Tea now!! I am finding I have trouble with the morning meal if I eat more than a few crackers. Today I had rice cereal (like oatmeal but made from brown rice), 1 egg white and a bite of french toast (made with egg whites and sourdough bread). I seem to find that eating egg whites aggravates my IBS even when I eat soluble fiber with it). Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks to all for all the info.
